Well, I finished my Law Of Attraction basic practitioner course and received my certificate a couple weeks ago. (Now I’m working on the advanced course.)

If you’ve heard of or watched the video “The Secret”, the Law of Attraction is what’s at the real core of it. To put it briefly, it’s about drawing on the positive influences to your life to attract more wealth and abundance and clearing away all the negativity that repels them.

It’s like I’ve said in the past: You can’t move in a positive direction with negative energy! The most basic part of the Law Of Attraction is that “like attracts like”. Good feelings attract good feelings, positive thoughts attract positive results.

Unforgiveness (holding a grudge) is a negative thought which will limit your desires, since it is a block to manifesting the positive and happy things that you want in life. Unforgiveness, as a negative emotion, also takes a lot more energy to maintain. Remember how exhausted and drained you felt after reliving an old grievance? Forgiving takes much less emotional and mental energy and effort, giving you more of both for concentrating on what you want in life and manifesting that.

You see, the past is the past and has no direct bearing on the future except for what you think today. The Universe does not deal with your past but with your current thoughts. There is no yesterday except for what you carry with you today. So if you want to manifest your happiness and abundance faster, then carry only good memories forward and forgive and forget the bad memories as much as you possibly can.

Understand that unforgiving, or a grudge, will impede the time it takes to attract your desires, robbing you of the simultaneous positive thoughts and emotions which will speed it to you. The thoughts and emotions that will help you to move forward with the attraction of your desires.

Pick an example of a “wrong” committed against you in the past and ask yourself if you feel that the wrong doer feels any less happy for having committed the wrong, however long ago it occurred? Chances are very likely that they haven’t thought about it in the least.

Now, just imagine how many times you have felt the injury committed against you. How much longer do you want to feel the negative (unhappy) emotions that you feel every time you relive or pursue those old thoughts and emotions evoked by that particular “wrong”?

How long would you rather feel the unhappiness of that old memory instead of a brighter, happier today and future?

All the bad feelings were all yours based on how you judged them and their actions. All the bad feelings you felt and feel now are all based on how YOU judge(d) THEM. So YOU can change this!

You can remember the past for the lesson that it is and let go of judgements that torment you. You CAN let go of the bad feelings. Simply by letting go of your grudge. Nobody’s perfect. Let the past go and throw away the power you give it to haunt you with your grudges.

Learn from the past, but don’t let your thoughts constantly cast you in the unhappy role of a victim. There is a better future than that ahead of you. If that’s what you choose.
